In addition to being great for decking and outdoor stairs, recycled plastic can also be a good option for external panelling on homes, creating an interesting and low maintenance exterior.
Low weight
Recycled plastic products have a relatively low weight compared to some of the more traditional building materials, such as wood and fibre cement boards, whilst maintaining a tough and robust material that can withstand normal impacts,a building will need to deal with (such as people knocking into walls, tree branches falling on the building, or impact from birds and pets).
Using recycled plastic products for building can make construction easier for builders to quickly and safely build homes, as well as making it easier for DIYers to build their own structures such as sheds without specialist building help.
