Projects for the home aren't the only possible DIY nightmares. What you hope will be a stunning summer house can swiftly become a pile of wood with no hope of completion. Gazebos generally come in flat pack kits with hundreds of components and complicated plans that need to be followed precisely. You need to build solid foundations and have the right power tools and the time to put everything together. If it goes wrong, high winds can easily tear off the roof and bring the whole thing crashing down.
Whether you want to add a gazebo, remodel your walls or knock through to create more room in your home, doing things yourself isn't always the best option. If you want to save time and avoid construction disasters, bringing in expert builders is often a much safer choice.
